6 pack contains:
1 x ELIMINATION STRATEGY Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 9.2%
Toasted malt and mocha with salt caramel, spicy oak and vanilla. Sumptuously rich and full-bodied flavours balanced by savoury American oak and a deep brooding bitterness.
“Nice balance between the barrel influence and the primary flavours, and the sweetness isn’t too full-on. The coffee is a fairly light touch, but that’s fine for something that isn’t explicitly called a coffee stout”*
1 x OBSCURITY Barrel Aged Wild fermented Stout 9.2%
Tart red berry and barrel funk, with fruity black forest chocolate and drying oak tannin. Medium bodied with a superbly long finish that starts big and fruity and ends tight and dry.
“Love this one! Nicely balanced between the smooth chocolatey malt and the bit of sour sharpness from the barrel ferment, and the raspberries blend nicely with both of those ends of the flavour spectrum. The pinot noir barrel influence is pretty big too”*
1 x FEIJOFLOWER Barrel Aged Golden sour with Feijoas & Elderflowers 5.2%
Unmistakable Feijoa pungency with subtly sweet elderflower, pierced by a sharp acidity. Initially fruit forward, with concentrated Feijoa and lilting blossom, those flavours are gradually overtaken by the bracing sourness which takes firm control of the finish.*
1 x FRED Barelywine 10% (440ml can)
Haaave you met Fred? Brewed back in 2022 as an English style Barleywine, this beer is all about the lovely Maris Otter malt base. We then aged it for over a year so that the flavours can develop and smooth out allowing for a great drinking experience straight away. So, feel free to drink now, or age it further, it's up to you.
1 x BREATH OF COLUMBANUS Tripel 9.8%
This Tripel has a classic Belgian ester profile and hides it 9.8% abv well -so be careful! The taste is sweet at first but finishes dry with subtle spice and banana notes and a hint of local Kaikoura honey. It will age well.
1 x BRETTIBIX Brett fermented Stout 6%
Our core range stout, Obsidian, aged in pinot noir barrels with a Brett culture from Belgium. Dark & funky!

South Island $6.50
